Pauline studied at Bournville School of Arts, Birmingham and afterwards became an Heraldic Embroidery Designer in Solihull Warwickshire. After marriage she moved to Sussex in 1969 and had a family.

Pauline gained membership to the Pastel Society in 1982 and has servered as a Council Member for many years.

Royal Academy, The Pastel Society, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, Womens Society of Artisits,Royal Birmingham Society of Artisits& Royal West of England Academy.

Awards include

Daler Rowney Award Pastel Society 1985 & 1997, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Derwent Award 1997, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Everyman Award 1986,Birmingham Pastel Society Exhibition Artists and Illustrators Show Platinum International Award 1995.
